Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support the Allergy and Asthma Program within the Division of Immunology. The role includes assisting clinicians, scheduling visits, and handling routine data entry.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of clinical or related healthcare experience, with pediatric exposure preferred. May rotate between Boston and Brookline locations and occasional evening hours.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Clinical Assistant experience or related healthcare experience.
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to rotate between Boston and 2 Brookline Place locations, as well as rotate between Fegan 6 specialties.
• Ability to work occasional evening hours.

Aufgaben

• Assisting clinician during examinations in a fast paced environment (obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, rooming patients, and performing other related duties).
• Assisting with scheduling of appointments with courtesy and tact.
• Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to procedures.
• Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to the nurse, PA or physician.
• Obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on computer systems.
• Answering, screening and routing telephone calls and performing general office support tasks.
• Providing general support for clinical operations, including stocking, maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment.
• Maintaining safety and cleanliness of work area per policies.
• Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
