Job summary

Southernmed seeks a Pediatric clinician to work with physicians in delivering pediatric health care. The role involves conducting patient visits, developing treatment plans, and coordinating follow-up care in collaboration with a physician team.

New graduates are welcome; extensive on-site training and support are provided to help clinicians transition into pediatric practice. Must hold an active North Carolina NP/PA license and BLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pediatrics health and related diagnostic and treatment modalities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze, plan, and coordinate medical care while making appropriate medical decisions.
• Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient visits and develops treatment plans within education, training, and experience.
• Maintains confidentiality and documents care in medical records.
• Interacts with patients by phone for questions, refills, and follow-ups.
• Teaches health practices to patients and families.
• Complies with clinic policies and healthcare regulations.
