Job summary

Kidzcare is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our on-site clinic in North Carolina. The role entails independent and collaborative pediatric care, with emphasis on education, patient communication, and evidence-based management of conditions.

New graduates are welcome; extensive on-site training and support are provided to ensure a smooth transition into pediatric practice. Expects strong clinical judgment, leadership, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pediatrics health and related diagnostic and treatment modalities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze, plan, and coordinate medical care with sound medical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical services within education and training scope, including patient visits.
• Obtains patient histories and performs physical examinations.
• Orders and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Develops and implements treatment plans per guidelines.
• Monitors therapeutic outcomes and follow-up care.
• Works independently and with physicians.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Documents all care in the medical record.
• Communicates with patients by phone about questions, refills, follow-ups, and results.
• Precepts clinical staff and participates in patient/family education.
