Job summary

Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte is seeking a compassionate RN to join our Pediatric and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. This 24-hour weekly schedule covers nights (7pm–7am) on a part-time basis, caring for patients typically ages 5–17 in a secure acute psychiatric setting.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an active RN license in North Carolina and at least 1 year of nursing experience is required; inpatient psychiatric or crisis experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric or crisis setting preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health and ped/adolescents.
• BSN preferred.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards and policies.
