Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is hiring a temporary Child Activity Coordinator to organize, prepare and assist in delivering patient care in the Child Life Department. The CAC will implement therapeutic play and activities in coordination with health care teams while ensuring safety and infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities include supporting families, maintaining spaces, and guiding volunteers in the Child Life area.

Qualifications

• Associa te's degree in child development or related field is required.
• CPR certification within 6 months of hire is preferred in practice.
• Experience with hospitalized children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare and assist in delivery of pediatric patient care services.
• Maintain therapeutic play and activity programming with safety guidelines.
• Support Child Life Specialists and health care team in patient care activities.
• Ensure spaces are clean, safe and reflective of family-centered care.
• Provide basic psychosocial support and coordinate with the care team.
