Job summary

Camelot Care Center in Logansport, IN seeks compassionate Activity Assistants to support the Activity Director, encourage resident participation in meaningful activities, and help maintain activity records. You will assist with seasonal events, bulletin boards, assessments, and coordinate with other departments to integrate the activity program into the resident care plan.

The role requires a High School diploma, a valid Indiana driver's license, and the ability to read, write, and stand for

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or its equivalent is preferred.
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate with residents.
• Able to stand and bend for extended periods.
• Knowledge of arts, crafts, music and group activities.

Responsibilities

• To encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• To maintain all records relating to activities and complete all paperwork on a timely basis.
• Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.
• Complete initial activity interest assessment.
• Assist the Activity Director in integrating the activity department with other departments.
