Job summary

Performance Pediatrics seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our pediatric therapy team. Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in a sensory gym and private practice environment for children from birth through age 21.

You will work with BCBA supervision, OT/SLP colleagues, and families to support functional development, communication, regulation, and daily living skills in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification through BACB preferred/required based on position.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree or related coursework is a plus.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Experience with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, or sensory processing differences is a plus.
• Ability to follow behavior plans and clinical protocols with consistency.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior interventions and skill-acquisition programs.
• Collect data and document client progress per treatment plans.
• Support development of communication, social, play, self-help, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.
• Utilize the sensory gym to create engaging, developmentally appropriate sessions.
• Apply behavior-reduction strategies and reinforcement procedures.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, OTs/COTAs, SLPs, families, and treatment team.
• Attend team meetings, supervision, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintain client safety, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
• Communicate with supervisors and caregivers about sessions and progress.
• Maintain reliable attendance with assigned clients.
