Job summary

Achieve Beyond in the Stamford/Greenwich area is hiring part-time paraprofessionals to provide direct ABA instruction and support to children in home, clinic, and community settings. You will work with BCBA oversight, collect data, and communicate with families after each session.

Starting hourly rate is $20–$25, with opportunities for training, career development, and referrals. Availability includes weekday afternoons and weekends; travel to cases will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• Experience using ABA preferred.
• Successful completion of 30-hour classroom/online/clinical observation training provided by Achieve Beyond and a passing grade on competency exam upon completion of training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community
• Collect daily data and organize the child's program book weekly
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations
