Job summary

Achieve Beyond in New York, NY is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapist Interns to work with children with special needs in home, clinic, and community settings across the metro area including Forest Hills.

The role supports BCBA-supervised ABA instruction, collects daily data, communicates with families, and participates in team meetings. Candidates may be undergraduate students in psychology or related fields and must complete training and pass a competency exam.

Qualifications

• Experience providing ABA instruction or working with children in supervised settings.
• Strong communication with families and team members.
• Ability to collect and organize data and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the BCBA educational plan.
• Participate in team meetings with BCBA and other therapists.
• Communicate with families and provide debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and maintain child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per state/federal regulations.
