Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring part-time hourly Behavior Therapists to deliver ABA services to children with developmental disabilities across the Capitol District area. Therapists work in home, community, and clinic settings, with travel between cases.

Responsibilities include implementing ABA plans, collaborating with BCBA and other therapists, and communicating with families. Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant experience and be enrolled in or have completed a related degree program;

Qualifications

• Two years of experience with special needs children (ages 2–21) in a supervised setting.
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.
• ABA experience preferred; complete 20-hour training provided by Achieve Beyond and pass competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the BCBA educational plan.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists on the case.
• Communicate with families with debriefs and share home/community strategies.
• Collect daily data and maintain the child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information in line with state and federal regulations.
