Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Children’s Center for Autism Rocky River is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support therapy for autistic children. You will implement individualized plans, collect data, and work under supervision in a 20,000-square-foot clinic offering behavioral, occupational, and speech therapies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and parent training to extend skills into home environments. Day shifts with 8:00am–4:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or six months of ABA experience.
• 40-hour coursework for RBT certification before hire.
• RBT competency assessment and exam within 30 days or BCBA/BCaBA cert.
• Computer skills and ability to work with diverse patients.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and ABA experience with autistic children.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized support plans for students with autism in outpatient ABA settings.
• Collect baseline data and apply approved treatment plans.
• Perform discrete trial teaching across varied patient levels.
• Use reinforcement, clear SDs, and prompt fading as needed.
• Assist in functional behavior assessments and data collection.
• Communicate progress with parents and train them on home strategies.
• Participate in supervision sessions with the Outpatient Behavior Analyst.
