Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation (IPC) is hiring Associate Production Peak Season team members for the Hot Side at our Delphi, Indiana facility. This full-time role focuses on harvesting, skinning, cutting, trimming and eviscerating pork products in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The job offers a competitive hourly wage of $20 for the first shift and $21 for the second shift, with benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work August 2026 – February 2027.
• Able to work hot or cold, fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Previous meat processing, food production, or manufacturing experience helpful but not required.
• Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., perform repetitive motions.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Rehire criteria: 120 days waiting period; three times rule; not eligible if worked for IPC three times already.
• Committed to following all safety and workplace protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of production tasks including harvesting, skinning, trimming, cutting and eviscerating meat products.
• Operate production machinery and equipment following proper procedures.
• Work with team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols and wear PPE.
• Keep work areas clean and organized for production readiness.
• Support food safety and quality assurance standards per company policies and USDA regulations.
• Assist supervisors and management with additional duties as assigned.
