Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. seeks a senior financial professional to join the Financial Reporting Team, focusing on quarterly valuation for BREDS vehicles and robust forecasting. The role includes building and maintaining investment-focused financial models and coordinating with auditors.

You will drive analytics, mentor junior staff, and interact with Investor Relations and Fund Accounting to support earnings preparations and corporate reporting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 6+ years of experience.
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills required; experience with valuation or forecasting required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in the financial services and/or real estate industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the quarterly valuation process and preparation of materials.
• Maintain fund models supporting investment-level return projections for long-term forecasts.
• Drive analytics and scenario analyses to add strategic insight into performance and results.
• Coach and oversee the work product of junior professionals.
• Interface with stakeholders across the firm including BREDS Investment and Asset Management, Investor Relations, and Fund Accounting.
