Job summary

Inspected seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to serve as the Qualifier and designated technical authority on building code compliance across a broad range of projects. You will deliver plan reviews, Certificate of Compliance affidavits, and high-quality client service for contractors, ensuring flawless virtual inspections and compliant outcomes.

This role reports to the CEO and manages multiple projects daily in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with Florida Building Code (FBC) and municipal processes.
• Experience reviewing construction documents, engineering plans, and permit submittals for code compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan reviews for building code compliance related to inspections.
• Review construction documentation per client requests and provide unbiased analysis.
• Ensure plans conform to codes and approved documents; stay updated on code changes.
• Maintain inspection records and provide QA recommendations; resolve issues with contractors and municipalities.
• Build strong client relationships and assist public, contractors, and internal teams.
