Job summary

Storti Quality Services in the United States (New York) is seeking a Visual Inspector to verify PE pipeline joint quality and compliance on behalf of clients. The role starts training at $20/hr, increasing to $23/hr after successful completion, with a company vehicle provided.

The successful candidate will inspect fusion and mechanical joints, verify OQ credentials, document findings, and communicate issues to the project team while adhering to safety policies on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous field utility or construction experience preferred.
• NGA Operator Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect fusion and mechanical joints of polyethylene (PE) natural gas pipelines to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Verify construction crew personnel performing pipe joining hold valid and current Operator Qualifications (OQ).
• Prepare and submit daily inspection reports detailing work performed, services provided, and any deficiencies or deviations noted.
• Maintain appropriate Operator Qualification credentials for assigned personnel.
• Utilize GPS receiver equipment to accurately gather data of each pipeline joint.
