Job summary

GPLA Structural Engineers and Builders, part of the DPR Family, seeks a licensed Senior Structural Project Manager in Austin, TX. You will oversee drawings, specs, and calculations across all design phases, lead 2D/3D modeling using Tekla Structures, and coordinate with engineers, modelers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, code-compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a structural focus or equivalent.
• 6+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings, specifications, and calculations across design phases.
• Lead 2D/3D modeling and coordination using CAD tools including Tekla Structures.
• Support construction administration with submittals, RFIs, and site visits.
• Review deliverables to meet scope, quality, and schedule constraints.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver compliant designs.
