Job summary

GPLA Structural Engineers and Builders, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a licensed Sr Structural Project Manager to lead the development of drawings, specifications, and calculations across project design phases. The role requires collaboration with engineers, modelers, detailers, and stakeholders to deliver accurate 2D and 3D models using CAD tools such as Tekla Structures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a structural focus or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in structural engineering required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred and NCEES licensure maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of drawings, specifications, and calculations across design phases.
Develop structural designs and analytical models for various building types and materials.
Lead construction administration activities: review submittals, RFIs, and site visits.
Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD tools, including Tekla Structures.
Collaborate with engineers, modelers, detailers, and stakeholders to ensure design quality and budget adherence.
