Job summary

Tom Green & Company Engineers in Austin, TX seeks an MEP Electrical Engineer (PE) to own the electrical design from schematic through construction administration, including service, distribution, and lighting systems. Data center projects will comprise a large share of your work, with active forensic involvement on occasion.

You will lead electrical analysis on forensic cases, spend time on job sites, and contribute to a producing, hands-on culture.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PE license or transfer by comity.
• 5–20 years designing building electrical systems at an MEP or A/E firm.
• Projects owned end to end with NEC and energy code second nature.
• Comfort in the field and the ability to work in our Austin office.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical design from schematic through construction administration.
• Lead electrical analysis on forensic cases and spend real time on job sites.
• Data center projects will be a large share of your work.
