Job summary

Alta Environmental & Infrastructure, an Arizona‑based engineering firm, seeks a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager – PE to lead testing and inspection projects from scope through closeout.

The role emphasizes client relationship management, coordination of field technicians and lab staff, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, while mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Current Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Demonstrated experience managing construction materials testing, special inspection, geotechnical, or construction-related engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction materials testing, inspection, and related geotechnical projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, owners, and design professionals.
• Develop project scopes, proposals, budgets, schedules, and fee estimates.
• Coordinate field teams, inspectors, laboratory personnel, and other resources to meet schedules and client expectations.
• Monitor project budgets, billing, and overall financial performance.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project status and testing results.
