Job summary

Alta Environmental & Infrastructure (Alta E&I) is seeking a driven Construction Materials Testing Project Manager to join our Geotechnical team in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on applying geotechnical principles, managing projects from start to finish, and delivering high-quality materials testing and inspections with safety and client satisfaction as priorities.

The ideal candidate has an EIT certification or strong geotechnical background, plus experience guiding projects and teams, preparing

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field (required).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred or required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, geotechnical software (gInt), AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team, manage projects from conception to completion.
• Prepare proposals and reports for projects of varying complexity.
• Perform quality control review of proposals and data.
• Coordinate with clients, ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Support marketing, sales, and business development activities.
