Job summary

Amphenol Corporation seeks a PDM / Document Control Specialist to own HSIO's engineering documentation ecosystem, establishing standardized structures, templates, and naming conventions while managing Windchill PLM and related tools to align with business operations. You will lead governance and drive audit readiness.

Office location in Pennsylvania, with cross-functional training and international travel as needed; the role strengthens traceability and enables teams to deliver high-value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field
• 5+ years’ experience in Product Lifecycle Management, Document Control, Engineering Operations, or Technical Program Support
• Hands-on experience with PDM/PLM systems (Windchill preferred)
• Experience with engineering drawings and CAD data
• Strong revision control and ECR/ECN workflows
• Ability to work across engineering, IT, manufacturing, and sales
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally

Responsibilities

• Align and develop tools and processes (PLM, SharePoint, Teams) with how the business operates
• Drive conformity across HSIO programs and teams
• Train and enable users to follow standards
• Identify and fix systemic causes of nonconformity
• Define and maintain standard documentation structures, templates, and naming conventions
• Develop SOPs for data management processes
• Integrate systems across global locations
• Manage drawings, CAD models, and documentation in Windchill
• Ensure revision control, lifecycle states, and auditability
• Maintain product structures and metadata
• Audit engineering data for accuracy and completeness
• Develop work stream mappings
• Support governance and documentation standards
