Job summary

Pete's RV Center in Massachusetts is seeking service technician apprentices to join our growing team. You will test all equipment and appliances on RV units prior to customer pick-up and perform minor repairs across maintenance disciplines.

We offer on-the-job training, advancement opportunities, relocation possibilities, health benefits, and a 401K with company match. Starting pay is in the $42,000–$52,000 range per year with ongoing training and a monthly bonus program.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with tablet-based technology for work orders and records.
• Strong organizational skills with accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs and services across maintenance disciplines (carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Prioritizes work orders, handles urgent requests, and completes preventative maintenance tasks.
• Follows safety policies, procedures, and regulations; maintains CSI and quality standards.
• Maintains accurate records of work performed, requests, and progress.

Job description

Pete's RV is looking for service technician apprentices to join our growing team! This position is responsible for testing all equipment and appliances on the RV unit prior to customer pick-up.

Responsibilities:

• Performs minor repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including; carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, painting, HVAC, etc.
• Prioritizes work orders, handle urgent requests and complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance work and procedures
• Ensures all shop repair and maintenance policies, procedures, SOP’s, codes, regulations, etc. are followed and enforced including safety systems and standards

• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching and lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. On occasion, may be required to lift items weighing 50 to 100 pounds
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology
• Strong organizational skills; must maintain accurate, complete records of work done, work requested, and work in progress
• A desire to work in a performance based environment.
