Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS Parts America is seeking a Specialist, Safety to ensure the health and safety of all personnel at the Tacoma PDC facility. The role reports to the Regional Employee Relations & Safety Manager, with dotted line to the Safety Supervisor, and involves driving safety initiatives across the site and maintaining records in the EHS system.

The position requires 2-4 years of safety experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and OSHA training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in Safety is required; 8+ years preferred for Sr. Safety Specialist.
• OSHA 10/OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be PDC Safety SME and gatekeeper; drive safety elements and initiatives across personnel.
• Support creation and implementation of new safety processes with HQ Safety team guidance.
• Monitor and report safety maintenance activities; ensure actions are recorded and countermeasures taken.
