Job summary

Grifols, S.A. is seeking a Manager of Product Development & Support in California to lead the PD&S engineering team responsible for technical complaint investigations across the MDS Instrument portfolio.

You will act as the primary technical interface, directing testing, troubleshooting, and cross-functional governance to ensure regulatory compliance and lifecycle support. The role requires 9+ years in design verification/validation (incl.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing and approving requirements, investigation records, traceability information, risk-management updates, and supporting technical documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical and statistical data to support investigation conclusions.
• Ability to set clear priorities and remove cross-functional roadblocks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end investigations for MDS instrumentation complaints, ensuring timely completion and QA handoffs.
• Review and approve investigations with complete strategy, evidence, root-cause analysis, conclusions and actions.
• Perform hands-on lab work, diagnostic testing, and evaluation of instrument hardware, software, and workflows.
• Maintain final authority on technical conclusions and drive CAPA, risk updates, and design changes.
• Manage PD&S team including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, coaching, and career development.
• Coordinate with QA and service leadership on escalation, evidence, and actionable conclusions.
• Review and approve PD&S documentation including reports, procedures, and change requests.
• Improve investigation processes and represent PD&S in governance forums.
