First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Shifts are 7a-7p and 7p-7a, with the freedom to pick schedules that fit your life.

Per diem opportunities offer competitive pay, daily/weekly pay options, and a mobile scheduling platform. RNs must hold a Virginia license, have 2 years PCU experience, BLS/ACLS, and required health credentials.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license required and active.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• AHA BLS and ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed within last 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Document care and maintain accurate EMR records.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Adhere to infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units as needed.
