First Choice Nurses is seeking PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Earn $56.25-$57.25/hour with flexible scheduling and daily/weekly pay options. Pick up 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts to fit your life.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Follow facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapt professionally to different hospital units and environments.

Skills

Active Virginia RN License

Minimum 2 years PCU experience

Current AHA BLS

Current AHA ACLS

QuantiFERON-TB test (12 months)

COVID-19 vaccination or exemption
