Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on the night shift and collaborate with the care team. You will assess patients, coordinate perioperative care, and advocate for safe, compassionate treatment while supporting a healing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year of PCU RN experience.
• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with providers.
• Document administration of care in the patient medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
