Medical City Denton is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Trauma Progressive Care Unit. The role focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care, pre- and post-operative nursing, and advocacy for patients to support an exceptional experience.

You will assess changes in patient status, perform procedures, document care in the medical record, administer medications, and maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care. Day shift with rotating weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
• RN TX or compact license required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.

Aufgaben

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
