Job summary

TalentBurst is assisting in recruiting a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse for Concord, NC. This 13-week contract features a 12-hour night shift (1845-0715) with every other weekend and 75% holiday work. Expect travel between Cabarrus/CMC Mercy/LCH regions, with a base pay up to $2,005 per week including stipends.

Required are RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and 18 months PCU RN experience. Proficiency with Epic EMR, Omnicell, EKGs, and chest tube management is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 months PCU RN experience
• RN license with BLS/ACLS/NIHSS
• PIV starts and advanced monitoring skills

Responsibilities

• Provide PCU patient care 12h shift per RN directive
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions and alarms
• Collaborate with CNA, IV team, and charge nurse; assist with phlebotomy and 12-lead EKGs
