Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You will have the freedom to pick shifts that fit your life and potentially earn competitive per diem pay with options for daily or weekly pay.

Requirements include an active Virginia RN license, 2+ years PCU experience, BLS, ACLS, and current TB and vaccination status. Per diem positions offer flexible scheduling and hospital-based opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS and ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current within 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings.
• Monitor patient conditions and cardiac rhythms; document changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams; maintain EMRs.
• Adhere to infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
