First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You choose shifts that fit your life, with options from 7a-7p and 7p-7a and the freedom to work when it works for you.

Competitive per diem pay, daily/weekly pay options, and easy mobile scheduling support a flexible schedule. Virginia RN license and 2+ years PCU experience, BLS/ACLS, TB test, and vaccination are required.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license and active status.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (past 12 months).
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital environments.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and document findings.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and comply with infection-control standards.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
