First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. You will have the freedom to pick shifts that fit your life, including 7a-7p and 7p-7a options, with the support of a local staffing team.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license with current, active status.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional facility-specific credentials may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in acute-care settings.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and patient data.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to a variety of hospital units and environments.
