First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can pick shifts that fit your life and work as little as one shift per month.

Per diem pay is competitive, with daily and weekly payment options, and a mobile scheduling platform to manage your availability. Virginia license holders are encouraged to apply.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience in the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families about care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
