First Choice Nurses is seeking PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. Shifts available include 7a-7p and 7p-7a, with flexible scheduling and the option to work as little as one shift per month.

Competitive per diem pay and daily/weekly pay options are offered, plus easy mobile scheduling and a locally owned staffing team. As a PCU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in acute-care environments, with opportunities to pick up shifts that fit your life

Formación

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.

BLS Current

ACLS Current

QuantiFERON-TB Gold test

COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
