First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a, and you choose the hours that fit your life.

Expect competitive per diem pay, daily and weekly pay options, and easy mobile scheduling. As a PCU RN, you will assess and monitor patients, administer therapies, document in electronic records, and collaborate with care teams.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN License required.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS required.
• Current ACLS required.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.

2 years PCU nursing experience
