First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can pick 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts and build a schedule that fits your life, with daily or weekly pay options and the freedom to work as little as one shift per month.

As a PCU RN, you will assess and monitor patients, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with physicians while maintaining compliant EMRs.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• Up-to-date QuantiFERON-TB Gold test, COVID-19 vaccination or exemption.
• Additional facility-specific credentials may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in PCU.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapt professionally to different hospital units and environments.

Conocimientos

Active Virginia RN License

PCU nursing experience (2+ years)

Educación

Virginia RN License

AHA BLS Certification

AHA ACLS Certification

QuantiFERON-TB Gold
