First Choice Nurses in Hampton Roads, Virginia is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts with flexible scheduling and daily/weekly pay. Choose shifts that fit your life, including 7a-7p and 7p-7a options.

You must hold a Virginia RN license, have at least 2 years of PCU experience, and maintain current AHA BLS/ACLS along with TB testing and vaccination requirements. Competitive per diem pay and responsive local support make it easy to build a schedule that works

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license active and in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilités

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in PCU.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Adhere to infection-control and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
