Job summary

Qualifications
- Must be a registered nurse with current licensure to practice in Florida.
- Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required; TNCC preferred for some units.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates critical thinking appropriate to patient’s level of care.
- Collects and documents patient health data promptly.
- Develops individualized, evidence-based plans of care and implements them safely.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians and staff.
- Educates patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
