Job summary

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a day shift in our acute care unit. You will adhere to medication safety policies, collaborate with physicians, and support the nursing plan of care across the care team.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in acute care, an active RN license, and an Associate's degree in Nursing; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. This role offers full-time hours with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• NCLEX pass letter and/or active RN license required.
• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to medication safety policies.
• Maintains professional rapport with physicians, patients, and families.
• Evaluates the nursing plan of care.
• Communicates patient responses to the medical/nursing plan to team members.
• Participates in practice changes due to performance improvement activities.
