Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a registered nurse who will provide and coordinate evidence-based care across the full care continuum. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while contributing to decisions, teaching and mentoring within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an active RN license (Indiana or NLC) with an ASN as a base, BSN preferred, and BLS certification; advanced life support certificates may be required by unit.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate evidence-based nursing care across the care continuum.
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics.
