First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can choose shifts that fit your life, with options for daily or weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

We value experienced PCU RNs with Virginia licensure and current BLS/ACLS, and you can work as little as one shift per month. Per diem opportunities provide hospital-based roles with local staffing support.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license required.
• 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units as needed.
