First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. You can pick up shifts and build a custom schedule, with day and night options and daily/weekly pay.
Join a locally owned staffing team with over 15 years in operation, providing high-quality nursing care across acute care hospitals in the region.
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
- Current BLS - American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS - American Heart Association.
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
Responsabilités
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute hospital setting.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and other equipment for PCU patients.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Follow hospital infection-control and patient-safety guidelines.
- Provide patient and family education.
