Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions in Sun City, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality observation/PCU patient care under RN supervision. You will monitor vitals, document responses to treatment, and escalate safety concerns promptly.

Work includes day and night shifts, on-site staffing, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans. A strong emphasis on timely communication with patients and families and adherence to hospital policies is required.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the relevant state.
Experience in observation/PCU or similar fast-paced unit.
Strong problem-solving and escalation skills.
Effective communication with patients and interdisciplinary team.
Understanding of hospital policies and safety standards.
BLS certification; ACLS a plus or willingness to obtain.
Proficient in EMR documentation and coding standards.
Ability to triage and prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
Reliability to maintain on-site presence and shift coverage.
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in observation/PCU under RN supervision.
Identify and escalate potential safety concerns or deterioration promptly.
Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and response to treatment with accurate documentation.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
Document clinical observations, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans.
Assist with triage and prioritization of tasks in a fast-paced PCU environment.
Utilize care pipelines and metrics to monitor progress toward unit targets.
Communicate clearly with patients and families about care plans and progress.
Maintain on-site presence and reliability to support team and patient needs.
Demonstrate accountability for individual outcomes while contributing to team success.
Support ongoing professional development and participate in training opportunities.
