Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center seeks a Nurse Extern for the PCU to support the nursing team in a Per Diem, varied shift capacity. You will assist with patient care under RN supervision and contribute to a safe, patient-centered environment.

The role requires enrollment in an accredited nursing program or recent graduate in the past 6 months, with preferred FL CNA licensure, BLS, and rhythm interpretation skills. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in accredited nursing program with completion of first semester including fundamentals of nursing course.
• Basic Rhythm Strip interpretation exam with a pass score of 80% or higher.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Two letters of recommendations from a nursing school instructor (one from employer).
• Maximum of two and a half years as Nurse Extern allowed.
