Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Extern to assist the nursing team in delivering compassionate patient care. You will perform designated tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to patient comfort and safety.

The role emphasizes relationship-based care, collaboration, and active participation in Pathway-driven decision making to improve unit-level outcomes and the overall patient experience.

Formación

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Florida (preferred).
• Basic Rhythm Strip interpretation exam with a pass score of 80% or higher.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Two letters of recommendations from a nursing school instructor, or from employer.
• Evidence of continued enrollment and progress toward graduation as a nurse.
• Extern may remain a maximum of two and a half years.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to patient comfort and well-being by performing assigned tasks under RN supervision.
• Work under direction of Registered Nurse within scope of practice to support safe patient care.
• Participate in Relationship Based Care principles to drive patient outcomes and care delivery excellence.
• Support and engage in Pathway concepts and team decision-making across shifts.
