Job summary

CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate nursing care under the direction of a physician or RN. You will assess resident needs and deliver essential physical or psychosocial care each day.

The role requires a graduate of an LPN program, IA licensure on hire, BLS- CPR, and completion of an IV therapy course within 12 months. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure comfort and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a LPN nursing program, upon hire.
• Licensed Practical Nurse: IA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
• Expanded IV Therapy Course, within 12 - months.

Responsibilities

• Follow the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate under RN/physician supervision.
• Provide compassionate nursing care and address resident needs daily.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate procedures and care plans to residents and team.
