Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Ortho/Spine at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This full-time role offers a 36-hour week and day shifts with rotating holidays and weekends. The technician assists in patient care under RN supervision, ensuring comfort and safety for patients.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification by American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Completed accredited nursing assistant training or 6 months of patient care experience or nursing clinical rotation.
• Care Companion Course completed within six months if required by the department.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Patient Care Technician - Ortho/Spine
• Location: Edward Hospital ; Naperville, IL
• Full Time: 36 hour work week
• Hours: Day Shift: 6:30 am - 7:00 pm Rotating Holidays/Weekends

What you will do:

The Patient Care Tech, under the directions of a Registered Nurse (RN) and, according to established procedures, performs patient care tasks and patient care procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients.

What you will need:

• Education: N/A
• Certification: Current CPR Certification issues by either American Heart Associates or American Red Cross
• Experience: Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
• Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
