Endeavor Health Careers in Naperville, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Ortho/Spine department. The role supports RN-directed patient care, performing tasks to ensure comfort, safety and well-being across day shifts in a 36-hour work week.

Candidates should have CPR certification and completion of a nursing assistant program or six months of experience, plus clinical rotation or Care Companion Course if required.

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program or minimum six months of patient care experience.
• Nursing clinical rotation acceptable.
• Care Companion Course completion within six months if required by department.

Hourly Pay

$19.71 - $28.58. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Full Time

36 hour work week

Hours

Day Shift: 6:30 am - 7:00 pm. Rotating Holidays/Weekends

What you will do

The Patient Care Tech, under the directions of a Registered Nurse (RN) and, according to established procedures, performs patient care tasks and patient care procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients.

What you will need

• Education: N/A
• Certification: Current CPR Certification issues by either American Heart Associates or American Red Cross
• Experience: Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department.

Unique or Preferred Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
