Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks experienced technicians to join the PCS Department in Austin, TX. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve UV wafer manufacturing equipment, working with Engineers, Production, and Quality to support PM, CPM, and failure analysis while adhering to EHS protocols.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing.
• Technical knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment.
• Competent and experienced in oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in performing Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition vacuum line issue troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine PM activity on pump exhaust systems and perform qualification of equipment after maintenance.
• Use SOPs to troubleshoot and repair seals found as leaks.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, unit part technicians and support group counterparts to ensure compliance to external and internal quality standards and to meet quality goals.
• Conduct exhaust PM, perform Pump Changes, and troubleshoot chillers while navigating the political landscape to accomplish results.
• Demonstrate effective collaboration with FAB Engineering to improve equipment metrics for the factory.
• Participate in mechanical assembly and disassembly, daily documentation, and continuous improvement projects to improve equipment performance for all areas including bottleneck areas.
