Ohio’s Hospice is seeking a hospice PCS aide for a full-time day shift in Dayton, OH. The role involves driving to patient locations in Southwest Montgomery County and Eaton/Preble County, delivering direct patient care and supporting families with compassion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Certified Nurse Aide preferred; internal training available.

• Proficient computer skills to document patient care in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to hospice patients in facilities and homes.
• Document patient care and services accurately in electronic medical records.

This is a FT day shift position; 4-10hr days per week 8am-6pm and is a driving position seeing patients in both facilities and homes in Southwest Montgomery County and Eaton/Preble County

As a Hospice PCS, you will play a vital role in enhancing quality of life for patients and supporting families during some of their most important moments. Working alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team, you'll deliver compassionate care that brings comfort, dignity, and peace.

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Nurse Aide (preferred, but will train internally)
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse Aide (CHPNA) certification preferred. Ohio's Hospice supports professional growth and offers opportunities for eligible employees to obtain certification.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to accurately document patient care and services in electronic medical records.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a safe driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and 10 panel drug screening.
